Odor Control

ECOairflow pads have 2 wide carbon strips connected by conductive string. The strips deliberately do not cover the full surface area unlike the original manufacturer’s full carbon sheet does.

So how do they work on Odors? …..Carbon absorbs odors and VOC’s like a sponge. The more actual carbon, the more it absorbs. Our strips are much thicker than the original manufacturer’s full sheet. When combined with the carbon in our strings, the total amount of carbon in our pads is about the same and therefore the ability to absorb odors is similar.

Why not just use a full sheet of thinner carbon material? ….. Carbon fabric has a much greater resistance to airflow. By using strips of thicker material, ECOairflow delivers better airflow. They still trap the odors, but you pay less to run your furnace.
